RESULTS OF THE “ECO SCHOOL” COMPETITION ON WASTE CLASSIFICATION AND PROVIDING CORRECT INFORMATION HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The Ulaanbaatar Mayor’s Office, in collaboration with the Institute of Health and Social Policy, organizes many activities to educate high school and middle school students of public and private general education schools about the importance of caring for the environment, providing them with knowledge and information, and instilling the habit of separating waste at source from an early age. One of these activities is the “Eco School” activation competition.
In this competition, general education schools in the capital actively participated, and 4 schools were selected and placed. School No. 60 of the Han-uul district took 1st place, School No. 28 of the Bayangol district took 2nd place, Uudam Mongol School of the Bayanzurkh district took 3rd place, and Shine Uye School of the Sukhbaatar district took a special place.
The teachers and students who were selected for the award were awarded certificates and valuable items by G. Batzorig, General Manager of UB City and Head of the Mayor’s Office, and G. Bilguun, Head of the Department of Landscaping and Waste Management of UB City Administration, and wished them success in their future eco-club activities.
